Mad Mike Unveils MADBUL Mazda RX7 at Goodwood Festival of Speed

All gearheads agree that the most appropriate place to unveil a build is at the track. The race track is the ultimate test where results are revealed, whether we like them or not.

Mad Mike Whiddett took the ultimate test at the Goodwood Festival of Speed where more than 150,000 spectators were present to witness the MADBUL’s “debut”, the results were magnificent.

First, let’s take a look at the MADBUL before its transformation.

So what exactly changed? Well, Seibon Carbon upgraded the RX7’s hood, doors, fenders, and hatch. Most carbon fiber parts were left exposed to go along with Mike’s traditional livery, the camo theme all of his race cars have. Another evident change is the aero. Mad Mike worked with Miura-san directly to develop an old school-inspired Rocket Bunny kit. Inspiration came from the original racing Mazda RXs from the ’70s.

Speedhunters covered the complete transformation, check it out here.
