KSR to Compete in 2014 Long Beach Grand Prix-GTS Class

Ken Stout Racing (KSR) and Seibon Carbon announce their return to competition in the GTS class of the Pirelli World Challenge. Robert Stout, the series’ 2010 Touring Car Drivers’ Champion, will once again pilot the Seibon Carbon equipped KSR Scion FR-S.

Since the last race of the 2013 season in Houston, the KSR Team has been hard at work prepping its racecar for the upcoming season – a number of significant changes for the FR-S were made during the offseason.

“While 2013 was essentially a developmental year for the team with the FR-S, we pushed extremely hard and by the end of the year had developed a race car capable of running in the top 10 of the World Challenge GTS class,” said Team Principal Ken Stout. “Our No. 86 FR-S last year was really only one of a kind in the world. From the stand alone Motec M142 developmental ECU, to the supercharger of which only four in the world existed, the race prepared ABS system and one off calipers and rotors, the intercooler system completely fabricated in-house, and the first fuel cell from Fuel Safe for an FR-S, it’s a testament to the hard work our team put in and the tremendous support we received from our partners last year that we now look ahead to 2014.”

“We are now eager to take the next step and look to consistently run in the top 10 and push for podiums in 2014.”

Best of luck to Seibon Carbon driver Robert Stout and team at Round 3!
