Seibon Carbon Rally xD: From 5th Place to the Podium

The Rally America Championship series continued on this past weekend at the Rally of the 100 Acre Woods in Salem, Missouri.  This event was the second of six championship events and also known as the fastest event of the series. High speeds and extremely dry conditions created major dust clouds affected some of the teams on stage; the Seibon Carbon Rally xD was no exception.  On day #1 dust clouds set the team to 5th place.

After a late night service at the end of day #1, the Rally xD was re-prepped to go out in full force for day 2.  On day #2, after losing a critical 3rd gear and being caught up in major dust clouds, Andrew Comrie-Picard “ACP” and the Rally xD fought their way back not only onto the podium but into 2nd place beating 3rd place by just 2 seconds!
After two events, the Seibon Carbon Rally xD team sits 2nd place in the championship standings for the 2012 season.  Up next is Portland, Oregon for the Oregon Trail Rally.
