Chris Forsberg’s Four-Seater Infiniti M45 takes on Irwindale

If you guys can recall back in January, Chris Forsberg stopped by and picked up some fresh Seibon Carbon for his Infiniti M45 demo car project. Despite preparing his competition Z for the upcoming 2011 Formula Drift season, and drifting around the world in last year’s NOS Energy Drink 350Z, he managed to find time to complete the four-door drift car.

It’s no surprise that the Infiniti M45 is need of a diet. The 4-door luxury sedan is heavy from the factory, and when all 4 Recaro bucket seats are filled, it needs all the help it can get. Chris called upon our Carbon Fiber Hood and Trunk to help bring down weight and get this car sideways. Chris Forsberg is known for his clean style of building cars, so he opted for a coat of 350Z white paint over our carbon fiber hood, but if you look closely at the trunk, bits of Carbon Fiber can be seen peeking through the paint.

Chris debuted the finished car this past weekend at round 1 of the 2011 Xtreme Drift Circuit series. With all four seats filled, Chris took to the track and showed the crowed that this M45 meant business in the form of an unparalleled cloud of smoke.

Although Chris isn’t competing in this M45, he will be doing ride alongs throughout the XDC season at various venues, so be on the lookout for this one of a kind machine as it rips it up, and gives fans a one-of-a-kind drifting experience. We’re proud to be involved in this project, and can’t wait to see more of it as the season progresses!
